Parents as Teachers Educator

Job Opening with HANDS of Wyoming County: Full-time Parents as Teachers Educator to conduct home visits to share age-appropriate child development information with parents, help parents learn to observe their child’s development, address parenting concerns, and engage the family in activities that provide meaningful parent/ child interaction. Required to conduct developmental, health, vision, and hearing screenings for early identification of potential delays. A.S. degree required, B.A./B.S. preferred, candidates with college degrees and work-related experience in Early Childhood Education, Education, Social Work, or any combination will be considered. Must be computer literate to use online recording system of visits conducted with clients. Must attend virtual trainings in the Parents as Teachers Curriculum. All training expenses are paid by the agency.
