Founder's Day 2024 Tunkhannock

The Tunkhannock Business and Professional Association presents Founder’s Day on Saturday, June 22, 2024. This annual festival will feature family-friendly events and activities throughout downtown Tunkhannock. Tioga Street, Warren Street, and surrounding areas will be full of artisans, crafters, vendors, food trucks, live music, and entertainment.

Iron Horse Ramble: Train Ride to Tunkhannock Founder’s Day

The Reading & Northern Railroad is offering a train excursion from their Nesquehoning Campus to downtown Tunkhannock for Founder’s Day. Passengers will ride the mighty T-1 steam locomotive #2102 and arrive in Tunkhannock around lunchtime. They will have time to explore the town and festival before returning to Nesquehoning in the evening. View our page for more information.
