Description
Narcan training is crucial for both businesses and community members in the fight against the opioid epidemic. On Wednesday, March 13 at 8:30 a.m. at the Dietrich Theater in Tunkhannock, John Alunni, Director of Wyoming County Human Services, and Cammie Anderson of Robinson Counseling of Children’s Service Center will present a training on the use of Narcan to reverse an overdose. Cammie will also discuss some currents trends that are being seen related to drug and alcohol use including some of the fake pills on the street, fentanyl in the drug supply and the use of Xylazine. Community members, including business employees, are often the first responders in emergency situations. By providing Narcan training, we empower them to act swiftly during an overdose crisis. This proactive approach not only is a life-saving measure but it also enhances the company’s reputation within the community.
